Ten minutes with Mary
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If it doesn't hurt, you're not doing it right. If you have gone through something horrific, and you're not having pain because of it, then you need to rewrite it.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Do not judge yourself. Don't judge yourself for having feelings or for taking longer, especially if it's your first venture. It should take a long time, and in order to make it everything you want it to be, doing it quickly isn't the answer.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Work ethic and integrity. There's always something to do. Find something. Education and ethics are two things they can't take away from you. Value your integrity above all. Your word is your bond.
