About Mary
She is a public health, survivor advocacy, program coordination, and community education professional with experience in cancer-related technical assistance, domestic violence and sexual assault services, crisis support, trauma-informed care, health education, outreach, training, grants management, program evaluation, and community partnerships. She currently serves as Program Coordinator for the Combat Cancer TA Initiative at the University of Iowa. Her background includes long-term assistant program leadership in domestic violence and sexual assault services, regional health work with Iowa HHS, coalition grant management, and health education with Planned Parenthood of the Heartland.
