About Mary
English educator with experience across high school and higher education, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of English at Georgian Court University and Mercer County Community College, teaching academic writing, research, and composition. I’m also a Syracuse University Project Advance adjunct instructor, supporting college-level coursework in the high school setting.
Previously, I taught high school English at Cranford High School (Honors Freshman, Speech Arts, and Creative Nonfiction) and led a writing group for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, using the Amherst Writers Method to build a supportive, empowering space for creative expression. I hold an M.A. in Teaching of Secondary English from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.A. in Elementary & Special Education from Marymount University.
