About Mary
Mary Krivda has spent the past 10 years in the automotive services industry. Prior to entering the field, she worked in the hospitality industry since she was young but desired a change to a standard Monday through Friday daytime schedule. After three months of focused prayer for such an opportunity, she obtained a position delivering car parts, which after two months led to an unexpected call from her current boss offering her a job. In her current role, she repairs people's vehicles and helps get them back on the road, deriving particular satisfaction from assisting senior citizens on fixed incomes who express gratitude for the support. She attributes her professional success to persevering and enjoying what she does, including her passion for working with people and her efforts to keep business local by networking with other community businesses.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think that the success is just persevering, enjoying what I do. I love working with people. The automotive industry and repairing people's vehicles and getting them back on the road gives you a good feeling of helping somebody. There are many senior citizens out there on a fixed income, and when they come in here and we help them, they walk out the door so thankful and grateful. That is just so inspiring for us to continue to do what we do to help our community. We try to keep it local and network and just try and keep our community going.
