What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to lifting others as I climb and maintaining a strong commitment to education and professional development. I believe that investing in people—through mentorship, structured learning, and growth opportunities—creates lasting impact and drives collective success.
I am dedicated to continuous learning and consistently seek ways to refine my skills and expand my perspective. By embracing innovation in training and engagement—such as implementing high-engagement learning platforms and incorporating gamification strategies—I strive to create meaningful, effective learning experiences that inspire growth and performance.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Early in my career, a mentor taught me the value of collaboration at every level. This is a skill I have taken with me in every role I have held. It's not about having the loudest voice in the room; what matters more is ensuring all perspectives are seen and understood.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering this industry to continuously challenge themselves and commit to lifelong learning. Pursue meaningful certifications and professional trainings to stay competitive, especially as technology and consumer trends evolve rapidly.
Just as important is building strong relationships. While platforms like LinkedIn are valuable, long-term success often comes from cultivating authentic connections locally and globally. Stay curious, stay connected, and stay ahead of industry changes.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the field right now is navigating a highly competitive job market where opportunities to nurture talent are becoming more limited. As organizations reduce roles and work becomes increasingly virtual, emerging leaders often lack the visibility, mentorship, and advocacy they need to grow. At the same time, trends move at an accelerated pace—largely driven by platforms like TikTok—requiring professionals to stay agile and continuously adapt.
However, these challenges also present meaningful opportunities. Digital learning platforms, gamification strategies, and enhanced consumer-focused digital experiences are transforming how we engage, educate, and develop talent. True influence today means not only earning a seat at the table, but intentionally creating space for others and pulling up another chair.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—both professionally and personally—begin with mentorship. I believe true leadership is not about climbing alone, but about lifting others as you rise. Every advancement is an opportunity to create space for someone else to grow, lead, and recognize their own potential.
I am deeply committed to continuous learning, especially in a fast-evolving industry like beauty. Curiosity and adaptability are essential to staying relevant and effective. At the same time, I prioritize integrity—leading with transparency, accountability, and authenticity in every decision. Finally, I value wellness and balance, recognizing that sustainable success requires taking care of both personal well-being and professional growth.
