Mary Rathbone

She is the Founder and Executive Director of Moms Adopting Moms, a Georgia-based nonprofit transforming how families are restored within the foster care system through peer mentorship, case plan guidance, transportation support, and a model that encourages foster families to adopt the whole biological family for life. With a nearly 90% reunification rate among fully engaged mothers and zero re-entry into foster care to date, her organization is proving that families can be restored rather than replaced. Her background spans hospitality, technology, missions, and social services, including roles as a cross-cultural missions worker with Pioneers in Germany and Georgia, Training and Resettlement Coordinator at Save the Family in Wales, and Director of Product Management at Expedia Group. She is also a TEDx speaker, sharing her vision for reimagining foster care through connection and lifelong support.
