Across my career in brand strategy, creative consulting, and business development, my work has been driven by a commitment to understanding cultural nuance, building authentic brand identities, and creating meaningful connections between brands and consumers. Whether I am leading strategy for a global brand, developing a new creative studio, or consulting with clients across multiple continents, I bring a strategic mindset, creative insight, and a dedication to delivering results that drive business growth and brand impact. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue shaping brand strategies that resonate across cultures and markets.

Ten minutes with Maryam
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Standing still is often the best way to hear yourself and to truly listen to where you should go. Stopping allows you to flow in a direction that isn't already paved for you.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Everything is research. Every experience, job, project, or volunteer opportunity provides inputs to learn what you like and don't like. All experiences help you get to where you're ultimately going.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The fast-paced, transactional nature of content makes it challenging to champion meaningful, long-standing insights and human truths. Maintaining an integrated perspective across niches is difficult amid rapid content consumption.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is number one - staying true to myself and fully immersing in the culture, person, market, and project. Championing creativity and collaborating with others by pulling from their strengths.
