Ten minutes with MaryAnn

01What do you attribute your success to?

Really wanting to help people. I still get phone calls from people because they know that I will help them out no matter what their situation is. I think that's what's helped with longevity.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Do some soul-searching and think about who you are and what you want in life, and no matter how hard life gets, don't ever deviate from that. Because who you are at your core never changes.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stick with it, because you never know where it's going to take you. You don't know what is going to happen and what's gonna inspire you in life, and if you don't get out and try every single thing that you think of, then you're gonna miss out on so much.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Navigating the new world with AI and going from in-person to online work. Learning different computer programs. It makes life easier but it's different and new.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Always remembering that there's a human person behind every decision. It's not just about winning, it's about making people's lives better. Remembering the impact on the people involved.
