As the company continues expanding with new locations, she remains a trusted resource whose organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication help keep critical business functions operating efficiently.

Mary Beth credits much of her professional success to the supportive leadership, strong workplace relationships, and positive culture she has experienced throughout her career. As a single mother of three, she balanced family responsibilities while building a successful career and instilling the values of respect, integrity, and hard work in her children. Outside of work, she enjoys attending Florida Panthers hockey games, cooking with her daughters, and listening to piano music and jazz—a lifelong passion inspired by her father, a professional bandleader and pianist.

Ten minutes with Mary Beth

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the incredible people I've had the privilege of working with throughout my career, especially Craig Zinn, whose leadership and support have made my 38 years in the automotive industry both rewarding and fulfilling. He provided not only a stable career but also opportunities that enriched my family's life through special events, experiences, and a workplace culture built on appreciation. As a single mother of three, having an employer who believed in me allowed me to support my family while teaching my children the value of hard work. I have always loved what I do, and that passion has helped me remain committed for more than three decades. Looking back, I am incredibly grateful for the relationships, trust, and opportunities that have shaped both my career and my life.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I want young women to know that they are capable of achieving anything their male counterparts can accomplish. My advice is to watch carefully, listen attentively, and keep your eyes and ears open because observation is one of the greatest forms of professional training. Take time to understand the bigger picture and learn how every part of the business works. Pay attention to experienced professionals and discover which areas you're most passionate about. The more you learn, the more confident and successful you will become.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my role is managing a wide variety of responsibilities while making the most of every day. Working with many different personality types also requires flexibility and the ability to adapt my communication style to build strong relationships. Every individual responds differently, so understanding how to work effectively with others is essential. At the same time, those interpersonal experiences provide opportunities to grow as both a leader and a communicator. Learning to adapt has been one of the most valuable skills throughout my career.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Respect is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally. I believe every individual deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect, and that type of culture is what creates long-lasting teams. I also believe strongly in having an exceptional work ethic, a value that became especially important while raising my three children as a single mother. I worked hard to teach them the importance of treating others well, taking pride in their work, and earning success through dedication. Those values continue to guide every aspect of my life.
