Her Interview

Ten minutes with Maureen

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Leverage relationships with intention. Build networks intentionally. Do your research to find work that gives you joy. Be authentic and do the inner work to find your purpose. Relationship building is key, like maintaining a job by investing in it.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Biggest challenge was lack of support and resources as a young mother balancing career and family, leading many women to give up. Opportunity is that support systems are now becoming more available through social media and information, helping women realize they are not alone.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity and transparency are most important. Be your true self, show up authentically. Build capacity to live to your most true potential. Be transparent about who you are.
