Her Interview

Ten minutes with Meagan

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the guidance of strong mentors and leaders who have supported my professional growth, challenged me to continuously improve, and encouraged me to pursue new opportunities. Their mentorship has helped shape my leadership approach, expand my perspective, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges, inspire others, and achieve meaningful results throughout my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to advocate for myself and recognize the importance of highlighting my own accomplishments. “Ring your own bell to play your own theme song, because nobody else is going to do it.” This advice has reminded me that it is important to confidently share my contributions, embrace opportunities to showcase my strengths, and take ownership of my professional growth and success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to be innovative, think beyond traditional approaches, and remain open to exploring new ideas and opportunities. Do not be afraid to take risks, try new things, and learn from failure, as each experience provides valuable lessons that contribute to personal and professional growth. Confidence, curiosity, and a willingness to adapt are key to building a successful and rewarding career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is effectively navigating the emotional side of change. Successful transformation requires more than implementing new systems and processes; it requires understanding how people experience change and ensuring they feel supported throughout the journey. The key is engaging end users strategically through consistent communication, meaningful involvement, and thoughtful change management practices. By creating transparency, building trust, and keeping people connected to the purpose behind the change, organizations can improve adoption and achieve lasting success.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Flexibility is one of the most important values in both my work and personal life. I believe the ability to adapt, remain open-minded, and respond effectively to changing circumstances is essential for growth and success. In my professional life, flexibility allows me to embrace new challenges, support others through change, and find creative solutions to complex situations. Personally, it helps me maintain balance, stay resilient, and approach life’s opportunities with a positive and adaptable mindset.
