Her Interview

Ten minutes with Meaghan

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents, especially my mom who was my mentor and did what I do a long time ago. Also my managers and mentors at my company, including the senior VP who is a working mom, and the amazing team that motivates us and removes roadblocks.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't quit. It's super hard especially to get into outside sales but you have to do the work. Put in 110% every day and know that the work you put in today will influence you for the future even if it doesn't pay off right away.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

How to reach individuals and consumers is harder now because it's not just TV, radio or digital. You have to hit them in so many different ways to make clients' brands stand out. Need to stay on top of evolving options so everything works hand-in-hand for the best value.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Work-life balance. Making sure things are good at home so it's good at work, and it comes back full circle. Having a supportive husband and job share partner allows managing home and being 100% at work.
