Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to always keeping children at the center of my work. Since 2011, I’ve had the privilege of helping young patients and their families navigate sleep challenges—something I consider the most meaningful part of my career. That deep purpose continues to guide me as I launch my own business.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Resilience is the key to success.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Forming collaborative groups is the key to success. Find ways to create incentives for collaboration as opposed to competition.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Coping with administrative burden is a challenge that is ongoing. In pediatrics, wherever there are new children there are new opportunities. In the sleep and wellness field, the technology has advanced rapidly giving more access to more people.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are compassion, truth, integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning. In both my work and personal life, I believe in showing up with purpose and positivity, staying grounded, and always striving to grow. Outside of work, I find balance through movement—gym, swimming, and doing housework help keep me centered and energized.
