Her Interview

Ten minutes with Meenakshi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I owe all of my success to my dad and the traditional Indian values I learned from my parents. These roots have guided me throughout my career and contributed to where I am today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I received from my dad is that you can earn money whenever you want, but earning trust is the most important aspect to focus on. Once you earn the trust of your clients, it brings revenue and makes you happy knowing you've created a positive impact.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Build something which you genuinely believe in. Growth takes time and there will be challenges, but stay true to your values and continue learning. Success built on integrity lasts much longer than success built on trends.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge has been introducing Ayurveda in a country where many people have never heard of it and might have misconceptions. Building awareness through education has been key, and I've offered free Zoom classes to make it approachable.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust is the most important factor for me, followed by communication, clarity, and accountability. Health is wealth and comes with accountability from both the practitioner and the client in following recommendations.
