About Meenal

Meenal Jindal is a real estate agent working full-time with John and Scott, where she targets single-family homes and studies the Seattle real estate market history. A civil engineer from India, she earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural and was a gold medalist in college. She worked for several years at L and T designing steel and concrete structures before taking a break to start her family. She later founded and ran an educational school and childcare center in Bangalore for five and a half to six years, serving over 300 children. After moving to the United States, she worked in education, advancing to director, completed credits at Bellevue College, and briefly worked on a project at Meta training conversational AI as a native English and Hindi speaker. She holds a Scrum Master certification and recently obtained her real estate license, drawing on her family's construction background. Meenal attributes her success to the support of her husband and close-knit family, and she values maintaining balance and integrity in both her professional and personal life.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Meenal

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would definitely give that credit to my husband because he is always supportive and encouraging. Without his support I don't think I can do things. We are a very close-knit family and it can only work when your partner is supportive. My children also understand that this is important for me.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be open to learning. Just keep updating yourself. Even if you're taking care of your family don't just give up on yourself at all. There was a time for about 5 years where I was just happy taking care of my kids and I just forgot about myself. Just take out one hour for yourself and just look around what's happening around the world so that whenever you are ready to go back you are not feeling left behind.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

You have to have a balance. I'm always that kind of a person who would keep family first but then I would always keep a balance. Maintain your integrity. Whatever you say you do that and whatever you do. In school and real estate trust and integrity is something that you should have.
