Ten minutes with Meetu

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think discipline, integrity, and collaboration. These are a few characteristics which are very, very important in my profession. And holding your values high, being committed to yourself and the organization, make a lot of difference in terms of how we perform this role.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice is that one should follow their passion. And if we are doing work or we are working in the area that's really something that is of our interest, then the world doesn't feel like work, when you really enjoy it, and you're able to bring your best self to it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You should enter this field only if you're really passionate about it, if you really understand what the field is about, and not just because you got here by chance or by accident. Make sure that this is a field you want to pursue, and why? Answer those questions for yourself. Maybe shadow a professional to understand what their day looks like.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The landscape of industry and work is evolving majorly post-COVID. Remote working, work-life balance, employer branding are more important. HR professionals must stand up the organization to these new facets. Diverse and globalized workforce have different needs. Keep evolving with an open mindset to learning.
