What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to explore broadly, remain open to unexpected opportunities, and pursue work that truly fulfills them. Careers in information management offer a wide range of paths, and success often comes from embracing change rather than resisting it. Staying adaptable and curious is essential in building a meaningful and impactful career.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in records management is keeping pace with evolving technology and complex compliance requirements. At the same time, there is tremendous opportunity in digital transformation, modern electronic records systems, and the growing demand for skilled information management professionals, particularly as organizations modernize and retire legacy systems.
