About Megan
Megan Ash serves as an Operations Analyst specializing in technology and structured settlements. With more than 15 years in the finance industry, she assists clients who have received settlements from physical or emotional injuries by coordinating with financial advisors and attorneys, preparing legal documents and paperwork, processing distributions and commissions, and managing internal programs to ensure accurate reporting and fund flows. She implemented and maintains a financial technology platform called Adapar Software at the 200 level, which serves as a monitoring tool for accounts. Ash earned a bachelor's degree in English from The Ohio State University, which supports her ability to communicate clearly with clients. Her earlier career involved answering phones for a broker, advancing to compliance and client support management roles under financial advisors, followed by directing support teams at crypto-focused startups where she gained expertise in trading platforms and international markets. She holds a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CFFC) credential obtained this year and aspires to advance into roles that blend financial technology with ongoing client interaction.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't ever sell yourself short. If you are interested in something, go do it, go apply. Even if you think it's above you. Women are capable of doing anything that we want to do. We just have to have the drive, determination to do it. Don't be timid. Come in, stand on what you know you think, what you believe in. At the same time, though, be open to other perspectives and learning and growing. Find those other women in this industry that you can relate to, and talk to, and experience things from, and grow with, and really just make those connections.
