Her Story
About Megan
Megan Bradley serves as Marketing Manager at Home Franchise Concepts, where she leads marketing initiatives for Budget Blinds, including local area marketing as well as brand and national marketing efforts from the company’s home office. Her career began in the fitness industry after earning a degree in Exercise Science, initially with aspirations of becoming a strength and conditioning coach or physical education teacher. She gained valuable hands-on experience managing brick-and-mortar fitness studios, including a corporate location within the Xponential Fitness network, before transitioning to the corporate team and becoming involved in fitness programming. Her experience subsequently expanded into sales, marketing, and franchise support, establishing a strong foundation for her current leadership role.
Bradley’s career progression reflects her ability to adapt, learn, and build expertise through practical experience. At Xponential Fitness and one of its brands, she worked across sales and marketing while supporting franchise owners with customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and local marketing strategies. She later joined a customer relationship management company focused on customer success within the franchise industry, further developing her understanding of franchise operations and client relationships before joining Budget Blinds. Bradley considers herself largely self-taught in marketing, having developed her expertise through hands-on experience, guidance from influential leaders, and a willingness to learn through trial and error. This practical perspective allows her to understand the challenges franchise owners face and develop strategies that are both effective and applicable in the field.
Bradley was recognized as a member of Window Fashion VISION Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025 after being nominated for the honor, recognizing her contributions and leadership within the window covering industry. She attributes much of her success to her parents, whose dedication to providing for their family instilled in her a strong work ethic, as well as to the leaders who have encouraged and supported her professional growth. Outside of her corporate career, Bradley continues to stay connected to the fitness industry by coaching group fitness at Orangetheory Fitness. She places a high value on transparency and trust, believing that open communication, honesty, and accountability are essential to building strong professional relationships and meaningful personal connections.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Megan
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to two key influences: the example my parents set for me and the leaders who have believed in my potential. Growing up, I watched my father work hard to provide for our family of four children, while my mother dedicated herself to caring for us. Their commitment, resilience, and strong work ethic inspired me to make the most of every opportunity and strive to make them proud. In recent years, I have also been fortunate to have leaders who recognized potential in me that I did not always see in myself. Their encouragement, guidance, and willingness to challenge me have helped me build confidence, learn from setbacks, and recognize that mistakes are opportunities to grow. Together, these experiences have shaped my determination, resilience, and commitment to continually becoming the best version of myself.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industry to trust their instincts and have confidence in their decisions. Deep down, we often know what feels right and what aligns with the person we want to become, even when a decision may not feel comfortable in the moment. Every experience, including the challenges and setbacks, can help shape us and move us closer to our goals. My own journey has taught me that growth takes time, and there is no need to have everything figured out early in your career. There are always opportunities to explore new paths, pursue different interests, and make meaningful career changes. Trust yourself, stay open to new possibilities, and have faith that each decision and experience will ultimately help lead you toward where you are meant to be.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe the biggest opportunity in my field right now is becoming the kind of leader I genuinely admire and aspire to be. When I interviewed with Budget Blinds three years ago, I was immediately inspired by the strong women on the leadership team and the way they led with confidence, collaboration, and purpose. I remember leaving my interview and calling my mom to tell her that I needed to work there because these women represented the type of leadership I wanted in my life. Today, I view my own leadership journey as a continuous opportunity for growth. I strive to learn from the exceptional leaders around me, incorporate the qualities I admire most in each of them, and continually challenge myself to become a stronger, more authentic, and effective leader. Ultimately, my goal is to create my own leadership style by bringing together the best qualities I have learned from the leaders who have influenced me throughout my career.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Transparency is one of the most important values to me, both professionally and personally. I believe that mistakes and challenges are a natural part of life, but being honest and transparent about them is what allows us to address issues, learn, and move forward effectively. When people communicate openly and acknowledge situations as they arise, it enables me to provide the support they need and do my job more effectively. Ultimately, transparency builds trust, and I value having that trust with my family, friends, and colleagues.
