Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the relationships I’ve built, the dedication I bring to every opportunity, and the support and guidance I’ve received along the way. One of my proudest moments was receiving a promotion that recognized my potential and allowed me to step into a leadership role, affirming the hard work and commitment I’ve invested in my career. Another moment that stands out was when a client I worked closely with sent a thoughtful gift for my daughter after her birth. It was a beautiful reminder of the meaningful connections I’ve been able to create with clients and the trust and rapport that have been central to my professional journey.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received has come from a few influential people who helped shape both my skills and my perspective early on. Kim Hutchinson, my manager in my first role, was instrumental in helping me develop strong soft skills and instilled the importance of professionalism, communication, and adaptability, foundational strengths that I continue to rely on today. I’ve also been deeply influenced by M. Wingrove, Chief Marketing Officer at Powerhouse, whose leadership style exemplifies strength and grace. Her guidance in navigating complex situations and managing teams has consistently set a powerful example of thoughtful, effective leadership. Additionally, my former professor, Bob Nadeau, widely regarded as the father of Sales at Plymouth State University, had a profound impact on my career path. His energy, passion for relationship-building, and ability to illuminate the breadth of opportunity within the field inspired me and ignited a drive to pursue a career where connection, growth, and impact are central.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life center around connection, balance, and growth. I deeply cherish spending time with my daughter and my pets, and I value moments of relaxation, whether that’s enjoying television, reading fantasy novels, or getting outdoors to walk and appreciate my surroundings. Staying active through exercise is also an important part of how I maintain energy and focus in my personal and professional life. As I continue to grow in my career, I hope to inspire others by sharing my experiences, passion for my industry, and insights about the opportunities available for those entering the field. I believe in fostering meaningful relationships, supporting others’ growth, and embracing the possibilities that come from dedication, curiosity, and an openness to learning throughout every stage of life.
