She opens the store five days a week, conducts daily team huddles, manages operations and inventory, and serves as floor coordinator by setting showroom vignettes that blend inspiration with functionality. Known for her strength as a selling manager, she focuses on developing confident, high-performing sales teams through product knowledge, relationship-building, and personalized sales techniques. Her leadership has driven strong revenue growth and earned her the honor of Furniture Warehouse Manager of the Year in 2024.
Megan’s professional philosophy centers on honesty, accountability, and empowering people to lean into their natural strengths. She believes exceptional sales come from genuine personal connections and well-trained, confident staff. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time in nature, exploring national parks with her fiancé, and reading true crime books. Whether mentoring her team or helping customers create meaningful spaces in their homes, Megan is dedicated to excellence, growth, and positive impact in every aspect of her work.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and encouragement I received early in my career. When I first left school and began working as a sales associate, I was fortunate to have a mentor who was the manager at the time. His support, belief in my potential, and willingness to guide me helped me find my direction, build confidence, and grow within the company.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to fully embrace who they are. Recognize that every day you show up, you are showing up for yourself first. Be honest with yourself, trust your instincts, and make intentional choices that serve both your personal growth and the people around you.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the field right now is the decrease in customers coming into the store. However, this has also created a valuable opportunity to focus on developing the sales team—strengthening how we relate to customers, sharpening our skills, and learning how to make the most of every interaction and opportunity that comes our way.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty and accountability. I believe in being truthful, taking responsibility for my actions, and showing up with integrity in everything I do.
