Megan Engel

Megan Engel is a people-driven recruiter at Northwestern Mutual’s Elm Grove District, where she specializes in connecting individuals with meaningful career opportunities in financial services. With a strong belief in the impact Northwestern Mutual has on both clients and the community, Megan partners closely with leadership to identify, attract, and guide top talent through a thoughtful, mutual-fit recruiting process. Her work is rooted in creating positive candidate experiences and aligning long-term organizational goals with individual aspirations.

Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Megan built a successful career in talent acquisition and account management, most notably with Titus Talent Strategies. There, she owned and grew over $500K in annual revenue, maintained exceptional client retention, and consistently exceeded recruiting goals. Her background includes executive recruiting, strategic sourcing, data-driven hiring recommendations, and mentoring junior recruiters. Earlier in her career, Megan was also an entrepreneur, founding and operating her own cosmetology business for six years—an experience that strengthened her skills in relationship-building, operations, and client service.

Outside of her professional life, Megan is a proud wife and mom of two who values family, community involvement, and balance. She serves on her HOA board, enjoys being outdoors, and spends much of her free time with her kids and their two energetic dogs. A self-described coffee addict, Megan also loves reading, cooking, movies, book club, dancing, and supporting her children’s activities—including taekwondo. Whether at work or at home, she is driven by purpose, connection, and making a lasting impact.
