About Megan

Megan Huber is the Founder and CEO of Structured Freedom. She entered the coaching and online education industry in 2011 after working as a high school business education teacher from 2005 to 2010, where she also taught online for North Carolina Virtual Public Schools and coached tennis. Huber previously served as Director of Client Experience and Success for a large coaching company from 2013 to 2016 before returning to her own business, where she focused on helping companies launch online programs and consulting on post-sale client journeys for 7- and 8-figure coaching and education companies. Her company now provides a certification program for client success managers and a placement agency specializing in client success roles for coaching, online education, agency, and service-based businesses. As CEO, her responsibilities include driving company growth through sales and partnerships, casting vision, leading the team, and delivering content in the certification program. Huber has pioneered the importance of the client success function in non-tech industries, emphasizing it as a revenue driver rather than a cost center. She attributes her professional success to always approaching interactions as a giver who adds value to others, and she advises young women to go all in when possible, explore different avenues without fear of pivoting, and give themselves grace according to their season of life.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Megan

01What do you attribute your success to?

Always look for ways to be a giver and add value to other people, and be a contributor. Walk into rooms and conversations with the perspective of I'm here to be a giver, I'm here to add value, I'm here to help other people.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always look for ways to be a giver and add value to other people, and be a contributor rather than focusing on making sales or getting business.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If single without responsibilities, go all in because you have the time and energy. Explore different avenues, don't be afraid to pivot or iterate. Give yourself grace, honor the season of life you're in, and don't compare yourself to others.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Navigating market shifts and industry changes, especially since 2020, with many losing companies and needing to pivot quickly. Figuring out what the market wants now while maintaining integrity of expertise.
