Megan Mitchell

I am an educator and community leader with over a decade of experience in K-12 education, technology integration, and union leadership, currently serving as Director of Community at Snorkl, a role I have held since June 2026, where I lead community engagement and strategy for the organization. I also serve as an Educator at ABC Unified School District, a role I have held since June 2018, where I teach and support student learning, serve as Vice President of Elementary for ABCFT, AFT Local 2317, and am an Adobe Creative Educator Leader and ABCUSD Technology Integration Program Leader.

Prior to my current roles, I served as Teacher at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools for over two years, as Educator at Little Lake City School District for over two years, and as Educator and Long Term Substitute at Los Angeles Unified School District for two years.

Across my career in education, technology integration, and community leadership, my work has been driven by a commitment to empowering students and educators through innovative teaching practices, technology integration, and community engagement. Whether I am leading community strategy at Snorkl, teaching in the classroom, or advocating for educators as a union leader, I bring a collaborative, student-centered, and forward-thinking approach that has made a lasting impact on the schools and communities I have served. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue building community, supporting educators, and advancing educational innovation.
