What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for helping others and building meaningful connections, combined with over a decade of experience in consulting, supply chain optimization, and sustainability initiatives through roles at Deloitte, Excite Holdings, and my MBA work at Berkeley Haas. This blend of professional expertise and commitment to community impact has allowed me to drive positive change and support others in achieving their goals. Of course, none of that could have been achieved without all of the support I've received along the way from teachers, bosses, and mentors who were invested in seeing me succeed and grow.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It's hard to point to a single point of advice, as it requires taking in many perspectives to build a well-rounded career that works for you - perhaps my favorite piece of advice I've ever received is that you ultimately decide what advice you're going to act on and whose perspective matters to you. In that regard, I've taken a lot from my mother, Kelly Reichert, a pioneering engineer and recently retired DuPont executive. She showed me that it’s possible to build a successful career while maintaining a balanced, fulfilling home life, and her example continues to guide my approach to leadership, integrity, and work-life balance.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to be continually self-evaluating your career to ensure you’re gaining more than you’re giving in terms of growth, development opportunities, visibility, and of course fair compensation. If you find your development has stalled, don’t be afraid to reassess your path—this guidance applies across industries, not just consulting.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are balance, family, and making a meaningful impact. I strive to contribute through my work in sustainability and community initiatives while also prioritizing personal growth, time with my child, and passions like reading, staying active, and caring for my family and pets. Maintaining this balance helps me stay grounded and purposeful in both my professional and personal life.
