Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith and my deep commitment to making meaningful changes in my life and the lives of others. My personal recovery journey continues to motivate me to show up with purpose, consistency, and compassion.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to be completely transparent. Honesty has been essential in building trust, supporting others effectively, and remaining grounded in my work.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage anyone who is struggling to never be afraid to ask for help. Recovery is difficult, but it is attainable, and I believe that resilience is built through the consistent work and commitment required in the recovery journey.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Trying to help those with a substance use disorder that aren't ready. With fentanyl on the rise, it could be in any substance. One tiny piece (like one peice of sand) too much could kill someone. It's heartbreaking, but reminds me of my journey, when I wasn't ready. I'm reminded every single day that I am only one wrong decision from losing everything I worked so hard to get back.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Support, family, structure, routine, faith, and a commitment to educating others are the values that guide both my professional work and personal life.
