About Megan
Megan Turk has dedicated her career to healthcare acute care and medical imaging since entering the field in 1997. Her path began with x-ray and CAT scan work after initial interest in ultrasound, then evolved with the shift to digital imaging platforms. This transition led her into systems implementation, support, and training roles that she continues today. She currently serves on the team implementing an enterprise PACS system for Jefferson Thomas Jefferson University Health Network, consolidating three separate systems and approximately 65 million historical images into one unified platform. Turk earned an associate's degree in radiological technology before completing her bachelor's degree in health administration from Drexel University in 2015, graduating with honors. She went on to obtain her master's degree and, most recently, her doctorate in health administration from Oklahoma State University. She maintains active memberships in the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Society of Radiological Technology, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. In addition to her professional roles, Turk recently incorporated a company and holds a provisional patent for an MRI safety device.
