About Meghan

Meghan Gordon serves as Demand Generation Manager at Novatec, a role she is beginning after prior experience in marketing since 2019. Her career path includes work at Madwire building holistic marketing plans for small and medium businesses, followed by demand generation at OneTrust starting in 2021 and subsequent tech-based roles where she rebuilt tracking and Salesforce campaigns. Gordon is also building Atlanta Groove Collective, an event-based music collective centered on inclusivity, community support, and removing gatekeeping in the music industry, with plans to evolve it into an agency. She earned a journalism degree with a concentration in public relations and a minor in marketing from Georgia State University in 2018 while working full time. Gordon attributes her success to the support of her boyfriend, mother, and late father, and she values loyalty and integrity in both professional and personal spheres. Her mentor Sherry Grody advised her to speak up to make an impact.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Meghan

01What do you attribute your success to?

The support that I received from my boyfriend, who is always supporting me, and my mother who has always been there for me. My father was also my biggest supporter prior to passing in May of 2024.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I'd ever received was from my mentor, Sherry Grody. She just told me, don't ever be afraid to speak up. The moment you say something that makes a huge impact, and if you're afraid to say it, it's never gonna get said.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would just think always go with your gut, you know? Don't be afraid to try new things, don't be afraid to, you know, help any leadership, anybody that you're working with, that something didn't work. Just find a way to present it with a new idea, and why it didn't work, and how we can make it better.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Personal values, just loyalty and integrity, and I think same way for both, you know, professional and personal.
