Meghan H. is a seasoned communications leader specializing in global research and development for Kenvue, where she drives internal and external strategies that showcase the company’s innovations, scientific breakthroughs, and iconic brands including Neutrogena, Tylenol, Zyrtec, and Listerine. In her role, she manages media relations, public speaking and media trainings, crisis communications, and supports the Chief Scientific Officer, ensuring that the company’s R&D stories are compelling, accurate, and accessible to diverse audiences. Meghan’s leadership extends to high-profile projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, and the development of global websites, reflecting her ability to combine strategic vision with operational excellence.
Before her current role, Meghan built her expertise at Johnson & Johnson, leading communications for Consumer Health and Vision Care portfolios. She has successfully managed issues and crisis communications, trained hundreds of professionals, and executed public relations campaigns for both trade and consumer audiences. Her entrepreneurial experience as Chief Innovation Officer at mk marketing & media further honed her skills in strategic planning, content development, and media engagement, allowing her to deliver creative and results-driven communications solutions across industries.
A graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Meghan also completed executive development programs at The Wharton School and Dale Carnegie Training, strengthening her persuasive leadership and sales capabilities. What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay true to yourself, invest in continuous growth, and lead with empathy—especially in challenging moments. Authenticity, adaptability, and ongoing learning have been the keys to building trust, navigating change, and turning high-pressure situations into opportunities for impact.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to own your voice and your story, embrace challenges that feel intimidating, and define success on your own terms. Stay curious, keep learning, and remember that confidence grows with practice and experience.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in communications right now is navigating the rise of AI. While technology can streamline processes, the need for human empathy, nuance, and strategic thinking remains essential, especially in crisis management and executive messaging.
