Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my lifelong love of storytelling and my dedication to helping others communicate with clarity and confidence. Whether media coaching scientists and executives, managing communications and strategies for brands like Listerine, Neutrogena, and Tylenol, or navigating challenging moments like a product recall, I’ve learned that authenticity, collaborative teamwork, and continuous professional growth are key to making an impact and earning trust.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stay true to yourself and challenge yourself, invest in continuous growth, and lead with empathy—especially in challenging moments. Authenticity, adaptability, and ongoing learning have been the keys to building trust, navigating change, and turning high-pressure situations into opportunities that drive the best results.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Own your voice and your story, embrace challenges that feel intimidating, and define success on your own terms. Don't expect anyone to hand you anything, and always work hard no matter what point of your career. Stay curious, keep learning, and remember that confidence grows with practice, experience and by listening to the right people.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in communications right now is navigating the rise of AI. While technology can streamline processes, the need for human empathy, nuance, and strategic thinking remains essential, especially in crisis management and executive messaging.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are authenticity, leading by example, and community impact—whether collaborating within various teams, trusting my perspective while also remaining open to suggestions, or supporting local causes (animal rescues for me)!
