About Meghan

I'm currently the shift leader at Pathways Incorporated, working in the southeast region of Alabama. We work with juvenile boys and females, and the location I'm at is specifically catered to young men. I've been with them for almost 2 years now - it'll be 2 years in May. My journey into this field started when I was going to school. I originally started going to school to become a physical therapist, but I kind of fell more onto the psychology side. That was my first job with finishing my bachelor's degree in psychology. I always felt the need to help out with the youth. I just kind of feel like, considering now, you don't see many people actually trying to reach out and help the kids, or just being in that area. I know a lot of them say they kind of get treated like prisoners, but I kind of feel like it's just an opportunity to be able to help them so that they can come back into society and be better than what they were. I graduated from Troy University in Troy, Alabama in December of 2020. I'm currently in school now at Troy University in the grad program for clinical mental health counseling. Since we have many locations, there are opportunities to travel to different locations in Alabama if needed, though I haven't specifically done that.
