Melanie Carinan

Melanie Carinan serves as camp coordinator in grocery retail at her company in Durham, North Carolina, where she has worked for 6 years. In this role for over 2 years, she manages weekly price updates, resolves discrepancies, and assists customers, drawing on her prior 13 years of mentoring experience to support first-time mothers navigating new challenges. After earning an Associate degree in Computer Science in the Philippines and relocating to the United States, she advanced into management positions and has been recognized at work for organizing events and in college for her achievements. Outside her professional duties, she volunteers with organizations such as Pretty in Pink and participates in the Susan G. Komen walk, while also enjoying pickleball, where her team won gold in the Raleigh Summer League.
