I attribute my success to addressing my own internal wounding and healing what has influenced the world within me. Working with my mentor Patrick Dadel, who owns the Personality Science Company, helped me identify my own internal challenges and beliefs that blocked me from believing I could be successful. Watching how he works with other people really helped me refine what was going on inside myself. I believe that how we influence the world around us is directly impacted by how we heal what has influenced the world within us. I had to address some of my own wounding in order to be confident enough to stand out in the world and say I have something impactful to offer you. I also believe in not changing my spark and being unique, shining differently than everybody else, because if you're identical to everyone else, you won't succeed because you're not following your own prescription.

To be yourself.

Don't change your spark. Your spark is unique, and if it's identical to everyone else, you won't succeed because you're not following your own prescription. Shine differently than everybody else. Every single diamond has multiple facets in it, so be unique. Don't make it about money. I understand that people say you can make six figures in the coaching industry, that it's the fastest growing industry, but don't buy the jargon. First find out what you're most passionate about internally and why that passion exists, and work from there. You work from there and business will come.

One of the biggest challenges in coaching is that if you stand out and you're a little bit different, it's not very inviting to the coaching community because you're not following the same prescription everybody learned. I believe there's emotional trauma that needs to be addressed before the mental can be challenged, which goes deeper than the standard approach. Another challenge is really having the ability to stand out in a community that follows the same prescription. The third challenge is how do you get known in this field when coaching has taken a bit of a nosedive in the minds of people. I hear 'Oh, you're just a life coach' all the time. Because coaching has become so commercialized with little results that people are experiencing, it raises the question of whether to call myself a coach or an evolution expert. The opportunity is in not making it about money and instead focusing on what you're most passionate about internally and why that passion exists, because if you work from there, business will come.

The most important values to me are authenticity and being unique. I believe in not changing your spark and shining differently than everybody else, because every single diamond has multiple facets. I value inner healing and addressing emotional trauma before mental transformation can happen. I believe that how we influence the world around us is directly impacted by how we heal what has influenced the world within us. I also value helping people not be defined by what they experienced, but instead regain confidence in who they are. Passion and purpose are central to my work, as I focus on teaching people how to find their passion and purpose using their pain.
