About Melinda
She is a distinguished nursing leader and educator with over a decade of experience in professional development, nursing education, and clinical research across leading healthcare systems. Currently serving as Director of Professional Development and Research at Catholic Health, she leads initiatives to advance nursing practice, research, and professional growth across the organization. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health, where she shapes the next generation of nursing professionals, and as a Nursing Consultant for Wolters Kluwer Health. Her career includes serving as Director of Professional Development at New York Community Hospital and as Assistant Director of Nursing Education and Operations at Northwell Health, where she honed her expertise in nursing education, operations, and program development. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Mansfield University. She is recognized as a visionary, patient-centered, and collaborative leader who is deeply committed to advancing nursing excellence, evidence-based practice, and the professional development of healthcare teams.
