I attribute my success to taking chances—by working hard and embracing risks that initially felt scary, I’ve been able to grow, learn, and flourish in my career.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: “You can, and you will”—a mantra that guided me to earn the #1 Steve Award in User Experience Design in 2025.

My advice to young women entering this industry is: you can do anything, just be willing to take the risks that help you grow and succeed.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is maintaining strong professional networks while also finding the best work-life balance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are resilience and perseverance—being able to rise above setbacks, like returning to work after maternity leave during the 2008 recession or navigating the uncertainty of COVID-19—and consistently exceeding expectations despite challenges.
