About Melis

Melis Ozkan is a medical doctor pursuing radiology residency at Stanford University. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, where she studied molecular engineering and worked under mentors including Jeffrey Hubbell, leading to her first startup in antifibrotics. After completing medical school at the University of Michigan, she founded the RADLINE initiative to recruit and mentor the next generation of radiologists while gaining research experience with Dr. Matthew Davenport. Ozkan has founded two startups and is developing a third focused on radiology-based treatments that combine her clinical expertise with molecular engineering to enable faster patient diagnosis and care. She remains committed to innovation in medicine and expanding access to treatment.
