What do you attribute your success to?
My supportive boyfriend, family and friends are the biggest attribute to my success. Every time I feel low or overwhelmed they know just what to say to refresh my motivation to accomplish my goal. Also my children, whom I try to be the best roll model for.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
“Don’t let it whoop you!” Every time I face a task that seems hard my boyfriend always says that to me and it helps push me to keep going and try harder. At the end of the day, you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it and try your best!
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the automotive industry is simple: never give up. This field can be challenging, but persistence, confidence, and a willingness to keep learning will take you far. Believe in your skills, trust the process, and don’t let obstacles stop you from reaching your goals.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now my biggest challenge I’m facing is being considered the shop manager even though I was never properly trained for the position. I’m up to the task and take every challenge head on as it comes on.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is the most important value in both my work and personal life. They inspire me to work hard, stay grounded, and pursue my goals with purpose. Their support motivates me to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge.
