01What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think it's really important to show other women or other professionals that your hard work does pay off. In terms of the field itself, not everybody knows how to do wound care properly, so someone has to take the responsibility and make sure patients are appropriately cared for. That's why I provide education opportunities wherever I can, traveling all over the country to help clinicians learn what they need to know. I'm also working on a project with WoundIQ, which is going to be an AI-assisted wound care platform that will help measure wounds, help determine wound types, and help determine dressing selections. I'm collaborating with them to make sure that platform will meet the needs of all customers across the country.
