Melissa Escobar is a seasoned Technical Applications Specialist and Business Development leader with over thirteen years of experience in international technical sales and applications across North and Latin America. Recognized as a 40-under-40 Industry Leader by Products Finishing in 2019, she has built a career translating complex chemical and equipment challenges into practical, scalable solutions that drive operational and commercial success. Her expertise spans surface finishing manufacturers, electroplaters, anodizers, distributors, and OEM partners, providing both on-site and remote consulting in English and Spanish.
Throughout her career, Melissa has led strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. She co-developed a comprehensive quoting system to streamline internal workflows and improve response times, and implemented a photo-documentation system for export compliance that reduced costs while strengthening accountability. She also contributed to the development of standardized SOP frameworks and has managed major trade show events across the U.S., Mexico, and Chile, consistently combining technical leadership with business development and customer-focused solutions.
Currently, Melissa is the founder of MeliX Global LLC, where she continues to provide senior-level technical consultation and business development support to organizations in the surface finishing industry. She is dedicated to fostering collaboration, delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions, and enabling companies to achieve measurable operational and commercial outcomes.
