Her Story
About Melissa
Melissa Gollan has spent 12 years in the technology field, with a focus on designing solutions that serve humanity and make processes more efficient for impact clients. As an entrepreneur, she founded 6GPI and led the development of a digital cloud-based AI platform that allows state governments to program and deploy secure digital coupons to recipients' phones for programs like SNAP. This innovation addresses fraud issues, supports directives to reduce errors below 6 percent, and cuts costs in benefit delivery. Gollan previously ran a technology company in New Zealand for 9 years before pivoting after various roles including accountant, sales, and marketing, which gave her an end-to-end view of processes. The company, structured as a C corporation in Delaware, is seeking pilot opportunities in states including Oklahoma and plans to establish its global headquarters there. Beyond her professional work, she engages in community service with Hope's House, a nonprofit in Oklahoma, to provide pathways into technology for welfare recipients and others.
