Melissa Hall is an experienced education professional currently serving as an Education Supervisor at the Florida Department of Corrections. My advice to young women entering this field is to never give up, choose carefully whose guidance you follow, and remember that the sky is the limit.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is finding effective ways to motivate both staff and inmates

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are loyalty, trust, and honesty, and I cherish spending quality time with my two children while pursuing my doctorate, which I expect to complete by January 2026.
