I attribute my success to the incredible journey I’ve been on, starting at age 16 when I was on my own working two jobs, and beginning my career in hospitality.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be like an eagle that soars to find opportunities, rather than an oyster that waits for them to come.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is: “You can, and you will”—it doesn’t matter where you start; it’s never too late to succeed and find happiness.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is being able to support everyone who needs me, as there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are serving others, paying it forward, and being there for my coworkers, community, and family.
