Melissa Silva

She is a medical office, billing, and coding professional with experience in rheumatology practice management, medical billing, surgical scheduling, office operations, and healthcare administration. She currently works as Office Manager and Billing Manager at Rheumatology Associates, P.C. and previously held office, billing, and assistant management roles with New England Rheumatology. She also has long-term experience as a Surgical Scheduler with Valley Women’s Health Group. She is a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Rheumatology Coder.

She co-founded Sunlight on Suffield a community-driven group dedicated to promoting transparency & accountability in local government. We attend public meetings, speak on key issues, and record proceedings to make them accessible to residents.

She is co-chair of the Healthcare and Advocacy committee for the National Organization of Rheumatology Managers (NORM), which she has been an active member of for the past 10 years.
