Melissa Solla is an accomplished transportation operations and customer experience leader, currently serving as the Market Leader for SilverRide across Las Vegas, NV, and Phoenix, AZ. With nearly a decade of experience in transit management, customer service leadership, regulatory compliance, and workforce development, she has built a reputation for creating safe, efficient, and people-centered mobility environments. Melissa is known for her ability to strengthen teams, elevate service quality, and lead with empathy—skills grounded in her bilingual communication abilities, union and non-union negotiation expertise, and deep commitment to community engagement.
Before joining SilverRide, Melissa held progressive leadership roles with Keolis North America, where she managed large driver teams, improved employee engagement metrics, and delivered impactful training programs focused on safety, mental health, and customer service. Her background also includes years as a Customer Service Manager, where she led investigations, oversaw compliance standards, and built systems that enhanced both client relationships and operational outcomes. Melissa’s work consistently bridges performance excellence with compassion, making her a highly trusted leader in public and private transportation networks.
Outside of her operational leadership, Melissa is active in mentoring and community service, regularly volunteering with organizations such as WTS Nevada, Girls on the Run, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Phoenix, graduating with a 3.9 GPA. Grounded, service-driven, and passionate about empowering teams, Melissa continues to shape transportation environments where safety, dignity, and care are at the forefront.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being deeply self-motivated, having a strong work ethic, and always finding a way to figure things out, while also knowing I can rely on a great support system when I need it.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to lead by example, because your actions set the standard long before your words do.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you see someone who needs support or wants to learn, be their mentor—offer guidance, share what you know, and help them grow.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is accurately forecasting how many drivers are needed each day to keep operations running smoothly.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—commitment, loyalty, honesty, and accountability—guide how I show up both at work and in life, shaped by my years in law enforcement and grounded in the joy I find with my spouse, our dog, and the simple things I love like movies, the gym, and trips to Mexico.
