Dedication and intentional actions. Being a speaker and business owner is not for the faint of heart...but you don't have to rely on hard work either. You simply have to engage in a strategy, surround yourself with the right people and resources, and stick to it! Success needs to be defined on an individual basis - what I consider success may not be what you do - and that is OK. We each have our own success meter to run by. Don't compare yourself to others.

Don't work past 3 pm. And on most days I stick to that! My life revolves around being a business owner and speaker, sure, but above that it is about family and LIFE. Experiencing it only after 5 or 6 pm is not enough!

Be strategic. Not hoping and wishing, standing on the sidelines waiting - but intentionally creating a plan and executing it - no matter what.
