Melissa Yos

Bilingual Khmer/Cambodian interpreter and community support volunteer with experience providing in-person and hybrid interpretation for healthcare and social services. Delivers free Khmer interpretation at doctor visits and helps community members complete critical forms such as Medicaid and SNAP/EBT. Currently works as a freelance Khmer interpreter with BIG Language Solutions and the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning, and also supports the University of Colorado Honors and Leadership Office as a student assistant. Previous volunteer leadership includes organizing freshman orientation, mentoring students, and leading team-building activities through William Smith High School’s RUDDER program.
