Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience and adaptability through major life transitions, coupled with strong communication skills and cultural awareness. My motivation comes from my children and the desire to lead by example, while optimism, persistence, and a willingness to start over when necessary have helped me navigate new opportunities and challenges.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay optimistic and keep moving forward, even when progress feels slow, because setbacks don’t define your potential. It reminded me to focus on growth, persistence, and the opportunities that come from embracing challenges.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering this industry not to let pauses or life changes discourage them, and to stay focused on long-term goals even if the path isn’t linear. Believe in your ability to grow into new roles, be patient with yourself when re-entering the workforce, and keep optimism at the center of your work—setbacks will come, but a positive mindset and refocused goals will help you move forward.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is re-entering the workforce after extended time away and balancing career advancement with family responsibilities. At the same time, there are growing opportunities for women in financial services, including pathways into advisory, client service, and leadership roles, where strong administrative foundations can be leveraged for higher-impact positions.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, communication, consistency, and loyalty. I also prioritize growth through learning and experience, striving to improve and lead by example in every situation.
