Meredith Alves

She is a distinguished design leader with over 15 years of experience in CMF (Color, Material, Finish) design, craftsmanship, and program management across the automotive and technology industries, currently serving as Head of CMF Design and Craftsmanship at Slate, where she leads CMF design, mastering, design quality, and perceived quality teams. Prior to this role, she spent nearly five years at Rivian as Sr. Manager and Manager of CMF Mastering, and over five years at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in progressively senior design and program management roles. Her career also includes leadership positions at Lear Corporation, where she managed leather programs, advanced materials, and product design engineering. She holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Wayne State University and completed intensive Mandarin language studies in Shanghai. She is recognized as a visionary, collaborative, and results-driven design leader who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality products that elevate the customer experience.
