Meredith Brown

I am a dedicated career services and workforce development professional with experience supporting students, job seekers, and community members through career advising, employment services, and educational programming. Currently, I serve as a Career Advisor at Rowan College at Burlington County, where I provide career counseling to students and alumni, assist with resume and cover letter development, conduct mock interviews, and guide individuals through career exploration using assessment tools such as Focus 2. I also organize workshops, networking events, and panel discussions that connect students with professional and educational opportunities.

My professional background includes workforce development, public information, and educational support roles with organizations such as the Burlington County Board of Commissioners, Burlington County American Job Center, and The Burlington County Workforce Development Board. In these positions, I supported employment and training initiatives, assisted job seekers with program eligibility and career resources, contributed to public outreach and social media efforts, and provided administrative and customer service support to community programs.

In addition, I served for nearly a decade as an Extended Day Care Aide with the Lumberton Township Board of Education School District, where I supported the safety, academic growth, and social development of students from first through eighth grade. This experience strengthened my communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills while reinforcing my passion for helping others succeed.
