Meredith Crosby
Meredith Crosby is a dedicated Transition Navigator, writer, and editor whose career is rooted in nonprofit leadership, adult education, and workforce development. Based in South Lake Tahoe, California, Meredith brings extensive experience in holistic case management, career and educational pathway planning, and substance abuse navigation, with a strong focus on supporting marginalized and underserved populations.
Her work is guided by a core belief in meeting individuals where they are and fostering empowerment rather than dependency by empowering not enabling. Currently serving as a Transition Navigator with ADVANCE Learn Earn Grow located at Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe, California and College-Liaison to the California Conservation Corps Tahoe Center. Meredith acts as a critical connector between learners and the resources they need to achieve personal, academic, and professional goals.

She is known for building strong community partnerships, facilitating “warm hand-offs” to services, and helping learners navigate complex transitions with clarity and compassion. A summa cum laude graduate with degrees in English and Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno, Meredith pairs her strong academic foundation with exceptional writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
Whether guiding adults through career transitions, contributing to publications, or advancing equity in education, Meredith’s work consistently reflects her passion for access, dignity, and opportunity for all.
