Her Interview
Ten minutes with Meredith
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to starting my career as an educator. That experience shaped how I listen, how I sell, and how I partner with institutions—always prioritizing what actually works in the classroom and supports students and faculty.
I also firmly believe in building trusted, long-term relationships. I take the time to understand each institution’s challenges and goals, which allows me to position solutions that are both practical and impactful.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received came from my dad: “How you do anything is how you do everything.” It’s guided my work ethic, from preparation and responsiveness to how I build trust and long-term partnerships.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay close to the instructor and student experience. The best solutions—and the strongest careers in ed tech—are built by people who truly listen to educators and advocate for what actually works.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Institutions are trying to figure out how to use AI responsibly without compromising academic integrity, data privacy, or equity. At the same time, faculty are stretched thin, which makes buy-in and change management difficult, especially when new tools require significant training. Add in tight budgets and complex system integrations, and it’s clear that solutions need to be easy to implement and fit naturally into existing workflows.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I’m guided by trust, authenticity, and relationships in both my work and personal life. I believe in showing up honestly, following through on commitments, and building genuine, long-term connections—because meaningful impact comes from people who trust each other.
